The Ancient Egyptians & Israelites

Ethnic Makeup of the Ancient Egyptians, Israelites, and Hyksos Ethnic Makeup of the Ancient Egyptians, Israelites, and Hyksos A comparative look at the peoples of the Nile and the Levant in the New Kingdom period (18th–19th Dynasties). Ethnic Makeup of the Ancient Egyptians The Egyptians of the New Kingdom (ca. 1550–1189 BC) were primarily a Northeast African population rooted in the Nile Valley. Their features reflected a mixture of indigenous Saharan, Nubian, and Nile Delta ancestry. Genetic studies of royal mummies and skeletal remains reveal a population connected to both Sub-Saharan Africa and the ancient Near East, consistent with Egypt’s geographic position as a crossroads of Africa and Asia. Royal families often intermarried with foreign princesses to cement alliances. For example, Amenhotep III married women from Mitanni and later Ramesses II married Hittite royalty. This resulted in foreign admixture at the highest levels of society, though the g...

The Time Warp Model

Time-Warp Model: Genesis Days → Cosmic Time

Time-Warp Model — Genesis “Days” → Cosmic Time

This page shows the fitted mathematical mapping we built to align the six Genesis “days” (as ordered epochs) with modern cosmic history. It preserves the biblical order while mapping each day to scientific waypoints (Earth formation, Cambrian, humans, etc.).

The model (in plain language)

We treat Genesis day index s (1 → 6) as the input and map it to cosmic time T(s) measured in Gigayears after the Big Bang. The mapping is monotonic and tunable so it preserves sequence while stretching/shrinking durations to match scientific anchors.

Equation:
T(s) = 13.8 · ( s^p / ( s^p + Ï„^p ) )   [Gyr after Big Bang]
Best-fit parameters
p3.210   |   Ï„ (tau)1.87133758   |   Ymax = 13.8 Gyr
Interpretation

With these parameters, the model front-loads cosmic time so the early, formative cosmic/planetary epochs occupy the earlier Genesis indices, while biological diversification and humans map to later Genesis “days.”

Anchors used for fitting

Each anchor pairs a Genesis day index with a scientific waypoint (Gyr after Big Bang).

Fitted curve & anchors (interactive)

Hover over anchor dots to see labels. X axis = Genesis day index (0–6). Y axis = cosmic time in Gyr since Big Bang (0 → 13.8).

Equation: T(s)=13.8·s^p/(s^p+Ï„^p)
p = 3.210
Ï„ = 1.87133758

Notes: this is a modeling tool — anchors and parameters can be adjusted to explore alternate fits. The mapping is monotonic (order preserved) and intentionally front-loaded so early cosmology gets mapped to early Genesis indices.

References & context: This model is illustrative: parameters were fit to a chosen anchor set (CMB transparency, Earth formation, early life, GOE, Cambrian, humans). It offers a way to reconcile sequence while leaving room for scientific durations.

The Bible-Science Time Warp Model: Bridging Faith and Physics

The Bible-Science Time Warp Model The Bible-Science Time Warp Model: Bridging Faith and Physics Shalom, family. One of the biggest debates of all time is the age of the Earth. Science says: Earth is about 4.5 billion years old, based on radiometric dating of rocks and meteorites. The Bible says: Humanity has been around for roughly 6,000 years, if you follow the Hebrew calendar and genealogies. At first glance, those numbers don’t even come close. But what if they’re both right—just looking at time through different lenses? That’s where the idea of a Bible-Science Time Warp Model comes in. What Is the Time Warp Model? The Time Warp Model is a way of thinking that says time may not flow the same everywhere . The Bible hints at this in verses like 2 Peter 3:8 , which says: “With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.” That’...

Fake News (It's Deeper Than Donald Trump)

Shalom, family. If there is one undeniable thing to credit to the current President of the United States it's his ability to make a headline, be it "good" or "bad". America is hypnotically polarized between idol gazing or hate watching his every move. He is never short of a quotable one-liner or catchphrase that becomes meme-worthy material.  One particular Trump-ism that seemed to stick in this cultural & political climate is "fake news." And while many of us use it ironically, I can't help but acknowledge the timing of this catchphrase as spiritually significant. A hallmark of the current age. What do I mean by that? Well, for you saints who are into eschatology (end-times prophecy) you are probably already aware of the discussions that are being held in practically every religious space at the moment about the last days. I would say with the quickening and escalation of world events and catastrophes that even the secular spaces have tapped i...

The End Is Near Part 3: Rapture

Rapture Date Theories — Flood, Hanukkah & Yom Teruah Three feast- and event-based theories people use to line prophecy up with the calendar. In End Times circles these are known as "high watch times"--seasons where significant prophetic events are expected to take place in the world. Flood Date Rapture Core: Tied to Genesis 7:11 — the 17th day of the 2nd month (Cheschvan) of the Hebrew civil year (Usually in November on our calendar). Why: Jesus said His coming will be like the “days of Noah” (Matt 24:37) — so some match the date. Typology: Noah entered the ark before judgment → church enters safety before tribulation. ⚠ Calendar matching is speculative; Hebrew calendar cycles make exact repeating dates problematic. Hanukkah Rapture ...
